Designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in the early 1960s, the Carimate chair is one of the defining icons of Italian Mid-Century design. Originally created for the clubhouse of the Carimate Golf Club in Como, Italy, the design masterfully blends traditional Italian craftsmanship with clean modernist lines. The sculptural black lacquered beech frame, gently curved armrests, and handwoven natural rush seat create a silhouette that is both timeless and unmistakable.
