A beautifully aged gold gilt mirror with softly rounded corners and a warm, timeworn patina. The layered molding shows subtle wear, revealing glimpses of the wood beneath the gilding—adding depth, character, and a sense of history. Its classic proportions make it an easy piece to live with, whether hung above a console, in an entry, or over a fireplace.

Crafted in France during the Louis Philippe period (1830–1848), these mirrors are known for their softly rounded corners, refined simplicity, and luminous gilt or silver leaf finishes that have become icons of French decorative arts.
